One thing I very much enjoy doing is farting around with miniatures in unusual settings. When I was little, I was heavily influenced by the book "Tiger Flower", about a tiger who is blown by a great wind to the land where everything that should be big is small, and everything that should be small is big. I started with just posing little people with natural objects to make those look gigantic, but quickly started to really have some fun with it. Most special are the ones in which a wild animal of some kind - a bee, an isopod, a spider, an ant, etc. - has chosen to grace my little scenes. I never coerce wildlife; I learn the ways of the critters and set things up to attract or at least not repel them, and I wait. Sometimes for a long time. It took several weeks to get "Aquaman out of his Element". I mostly paint the figures myself these days, when I can carve out some time.
